This cow needs a name. I photographed her last March when all of the artists at Studio Art and Soul went to John Martin's Ranch. The cows in the pasture were amazing...very colorful, full of personality great to watch. Here is my interpretation of what I saw grazing in the fields. Lamb Chops by Kay Wyne

I was looking at this oil painting...I think I will paint another Lamb Chop, since this painting has recieved alot of comments. It is sold, but I may paint another lamb, but of course it won't be the same...maybe it will be related to Lamb Chops. It looks like we are going to have a good weekend in Dallas....sunny and cool. I've retaken the photo of this painting. I think I am satisfied with it. The glare seems to be gone.

Different Strokes from Different Folks Challenge

I'm finished with this painting for the Different Strokes from Different Folks challenge but I am having the hardes time getting a good photograph of it. There are glares that I can't figure out how to diffuse. The only medium I used was walnut oil. I've never had a problem before. The paint is Prussian Blue.
