This painting is probably going to be at the Arboretum Garden Gallery. It was my second koi painting, and I was very nervous about the green. Since I tend to "over-paint" on green, I was very careful not to get green paint on the fish. The water at the Koi Pond in the Arboretum was very green, even though my eye wanted to paint blue. Murphy is a skinny little dachshund. He was being held in the sunlight when I took a photograph of him. His coat is shiny and has some deep red in it. I need to finish Jackson, the chocolate lab now that Murphy is signed. Thanks for visiting this blog!
